Building Automation Systems SpecialistKids Are Our Everything.Department: 10029 Facility ManagementPay Range: $30.88 - $60.68About the Role:The Building Automation Systems Specialist will install, operate and maintain the computerized direct digital electronic control systems of the building automation system for the facility and all the pneumatic operated automatic temperature control systems on all mechanical equipment in accordance with plans and specifications, operating manuals and manufacturer's specifications. Responds to all hospital emergencies including but not limited to leaks, odors and fire alarms.Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, followed by specialized training and certifications in building automation and facility management (Required)Or High School Diploma or GED 4+ years experience in system commissioning and/or programming of DDC systems and HVAC control systems (Required)Minimum Work Experience 5 years of related and progressive experience. Emphasis on automatic temperature controls, both Pneumatic and DDC. No supervisory experience required. (Required)Required Licenses and Certifications Drivers License (Required)Required Skills/KnowledgeFrequent bend/stoop, sit, stand/walk and reach 8-12 hrs.Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull 40-75 pounds.PC Operating Systems and mobile work order devices.Proficient knowledge of Intranet, some Microsoft Offices Suites (Word, Excel). Familiarity with automated work order systems.
