Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Manager for Cell Therapy Manufacturing at its Devens facility to oversee 24/7 commercial operations, including media preparation, cell processing, and product fill. The role requires leading manufacturing teams across rotating shifts while ensuring cGMP compliance and operational excellence in cell therapy production.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance of manufacturing documentation, procedures, and policies
- Oversee daily unit operations including media prep, cell selection, processing, and product fill across shifts
- Manage manufacturing staff performance, conduct reviews, and identify career development opportunities
- Lead corrective and preventative actions, deviation responses, and regulatory investigations
- Coordinate operations status and project information with Planning, Quality Assurance, and Supply functions
Requirements
- 5+ years cGMP bioprocessing or cell therapy manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant science or engineering discipline
- Experience with cell therapy techniques: cell washing, separation, cryopreservation, expansion
- Aseptic processing experience in ISO 5 biosafety cabinets and BSL-2 containment
- Leadership and team management capabilities
- Knowledge of validated manufacturing systems and deviation management
Compensation: $104,975 - $127,205 base
