Executive Office Administrative Support
This position is in the Executive Offices of the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation. This position works as part of a team to provide sufficient office coverage and administrative support to the Commissioner and all Executive Staff.
The position is responsible for day-to-day operations of the office, including, but not limited to:
- Scheduling meetings
- Coordinating and processing Executive Office travel
- Phone and electronic email monitoring
- New York State Retirement Plan Membership Eligibility
- Health Insurance and Vacation/Sick/Personal Time Off eligibility after a period of service.
- Tuition Assistance Programs
There are no minimum qualifications per Civil Service.
Operating Needs:
The candidate for this position must work well under pressure, be a self-starter, maintain confidentiality, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and good typing/computer skills are required.
The ideal candidate should also be tech savvy and proficient with various virtual meeting platforms.
