Work Schedule Full‑Time (72 hours bi‑weekly) Shift varies: Four 10‑hour shifts, two opening shifts (6 am – 4:30 pm), two closing shifts (9 am – 7:30 pm) On‑call: 1 day per week and rotating weekend every 4th or 5th weekend Incentives & Benefits Competitive shift differentials, with the potential to earn up to an additional $10 per hour based on shift, hours worked, and organizational guidelines. ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit or department Registered Nurse Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle Up to 1 year clinical nursing experience Job Overview This position applies the nursing process in providing direct and indirect holistic care to patients and their families. The position collaborates in a collegial manner with physicians and other health care team members to meet patient needs, and may delegate certain aspects of care to those under its direct supervision within the scope of nursing practice. Job Responsibilities Demonstrate organizational responsibilities, identify areas for self‑improvement through self‑assessment and peer review, and provide leadership on the unit as needed; cooperate with instructor to facilitate learning experiences for students; support organizational activities and committees. Evaluate patient care plans and collaborate with the patient, family, and health care team to revise plans as needed; supervise delegated care. Implement the plan of care, ensuring patient autonomy, dignity, and rights; act as patient advocate; prioritize workload; recognize emergency situations and initiate emergency measures. Perform initial and ongoing assessment of patients and families, complete assessment tools, document findings, and communicate assessment to health care providers; administer medications and treatments safely; use equipment appropriately.
