Civil Designer
DRC Engineering, Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking a full-time Civil Designer for our office in Anaheim Hills, CA or Riverside, CA with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to design components of a land development project including grading, utilities, hydrology, erosion control and water quality.
- Experience with multiple government agencies ranging from cities, counties, dry utility companies and water districts. Additional experience with Caltrans and the Army Corps of Engineers desired but not required.
- Experience in coordinating civil design aspects with planners, architects, landscape architects, geotechnical engineers, structural engineers and traffic engineers.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare preliminary drawings, construction drawings and exhibits from start to finish.
- Ability to see the firm as a whole and understand the interrelationships of the various departments and the impact they have on one another.
- Must have reliable transportation as the candidate may be required to make in-person submittals and attend project meetings on behalf of the company and clients.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, or equivalent is required.
- E.I.T. Certification or P.E. is highly desired, but not required.
