Role Description The Dispatcher role at ETA LOGISTICAL SOLUTIONS is a full-time, on-site position based in Romulus, MI. The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily routes, assigning deliveries to drivers, and monitoring shipment progress throughout the day. This role includes communicating with drivers and customers, updating dispatch systems, and responding quickly to schedule changes, delays, or urgent requests. The Dispatcher will verify documentation, maintain accurate records of loads and deliveries, and ensure that all work aligns with company policies and service standards. The position requires consistent collaboration with operations and warehouse teams to support efficient logistics and meet service commitments. Qualifications Experience with dispatching or coordinating transportation, courier, or logistics operations. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple routes and priorities. Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tools, and standard office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets). Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 environment and handle urgent issues calmly and effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and record keeping. Basic knowledge of local and regional geography; experience in courier or freight operations is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or coursework in logistics or transportation is a plus.
