Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position in Wilkes Barre, PA. This rewarding opportunity involves working closely under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and inventory management in a professional healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician include:

Filling prescriptions and preparing IVs under direct supervision
Entering data into the computer system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement payment
Pre-packaging medication for dispensing as per standards and regulations
Assisting Registered Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions
Coordinating accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
Maintaining good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies
Ensuring a clean and safe work environment and checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician include:

Experience in pharmacy technology or equivalent role
Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
