• • Checking body welding tooling and part accuracy using Vectorarm, Perceptron, & FARO portable CMM equipment.
  • Gather part information from Digital Engineering systems, i.e., PolyWorks, Catia and 3D imaging software.
  • Checking part quality using hand tools and quality checking fixtures.
  • Support Sheetmetal Sub-assy. and Body build trials and activities during pre-production events.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, parts, and part fitting.
  • Analyze part and sub-assembly data and provide feedback to project leader(s).

Requirements:

• • 2-5 Years Automotive/ Aerospace Quality Metrology experience (Sheet-metal QA)
  • Capable of using portable CMM equipment, Scanners, Laser Trackers.  (FARO, Vectorarm, Leica, Creaform).
  • Experience with 3D comparison softwares like PolyWorks, Cam 2, Scene, PC DMIS.
  • Strong mechanical ability. Small hand tools for adjusting / modifying part datums.
