Part-Time Instructor | Applied Engineering Technology

Department Overview The Department of Applied Engineering Technology is a learner‑centered community preparing graduates as future technology innovators and industry leaders. Position Overview Part‑Time Instructor | Applied Engineering Technology – temporary appointment. Courses offered include Applied Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, Computer Graphics Technology, and Technology Management. Maximum teaching load is four courses per semester. Applicants may work in a remote or hybrid arrangement per university and state policies. Responsibilities Teach in‑person or online courses. Participate in teaching training. Collect and assess data on student learning. Attend department faculty and staff meetings. Submit teaching materials as part of the semester review. Minimum Requirements Master’s degree in a related engineering or technology field. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of one year teaching experience at the university or community college level and related industrial experience.
