Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Valid compact license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NR Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 in labor and 1:3 in antepartum - Experience with Epic charting system Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. This position requires floating between units as needed. Weekend shifts are required. The hospital performs over 3,600 deliveries per year. The nurse will assist with high-risk deliveries and maternal emergencies. Key responsibilities include the administration of medications and therapies. The nurse will support patients during labor and delivery. The role involves monitoring maternal and fetal well-being. The position may involve coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates should have experience with various patient diagnoses and treatments. Expectations include strong communication and collaboration skills. The environment is fast-paced and requires adaptability. Must be available for on-call duties as needed.
