You will support the purchasing, receiving, and distribution of supplies, equipment, materials, and services; coordinate fleet vehicle activities; and provide friendly, responsive customer service to staff and community members. This position also manages incoming and outgoing mail and shipping activities, coordinates daily bank deposits, and ensures materials and information reach the appropriate staff. Typical Duties: Candidates must be able to complete the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation and meet all the mandatory qualifications of the position. Serve as the primary point of contact for the public, staff, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders by professionally answering, screening, and directing incoming calls and inquiries. Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail operations, including sorting, distributing, preparing mailings, maintaining postage equipment, and ensuring timely delivery and pickup. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to requests for information regarding Southwest District Health programs, services, facility locations, and departmental contacts. Facilitate daily administrative support functions, including transporting high‑priority mail and district deposits, while ensuring accuracy, security, and timeliness. Administer fleet management activities for district vehicles, including mileage tracking, maintenance scheduling, vehicle reservations, and coordination with service vendors. Monitor fleet utilization and maintenance needs by maintaining vehicle records, tracking service intervals, and resolving vehicle‑related concerns reported by staff. Manage fleet resources by maintaining fuel cards, vehicle supplies, and operational readiness to ensure staff have reliable transportation for district business. Coordinate receiving functions, including processing shipments, verifying deliveries against packing slips, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting procurement activities. Prepare and distribute routine operational reports to support organizational planning, accountability, and resource management. Minimum Qualifications: You must possess all the minimum qualifications listed below to qualify for this position. Minimum Qualifications (MQ): Approximately 2-4 years of experience or equivalent education in rules of effective business English usage, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
