Role: Senior Data & Cloud Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL Onsite

Position Summary

This role will be responsible for migrating, optimizing, and managing data pipelines while ensuring scalability, security, performance, and reliability across the enterprise data ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

Experience

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Database Development, or Data Warehousing.

5+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.

3+ years of experience with Azure Data Platform services.

2+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric implementation and administration.

Experience supporting enterprise-scale reporting and analytics environments.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Development

Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL programs, packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning solutions.

Analyze existing database solutions and recommend modernization opportunities leveraging Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data movement and transformation.

Build and support enterprise data warehouse and data lake solutions.

Perform data modeling, data quality management, and metadata management activities.

Microsoft Fabric Responsibilities

Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions including:

Fabric Data Factory

Lakehouse

Data Warehouse

OneLake

Notebooks

Real-Time Analytics

Semantic Models

Power BI Integration

Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Fabric.

Optimize Fabric workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Implement end-to-end analytics solutions within the Fabric ecosystem.

Azure Cloud Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud-native data solutions using Azure services.

Develop solutions utilizing:

Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)

Azure SQL Database

Azure Synapse Analytics

Azure Functions

Azure Key Vault

Azure Monitor

Azure DevOps

Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises Oracle environments to Azure/Fabric platforms.

Ensure cloud architecture aligns with security, governance, and compliance standards.

Governance

Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Ensure data security, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Participate in architecture reviews and technology roadmap planning.
