Assignment Duration

This is a temporary position with a commitment of 8 to 12 weeks.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 18:30 to 07:00. Weekends as needed, with potential floating to other facilities.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required before submission.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients.
• Evaluate and monitor patients' respiratory status and respond to changes.
• Manage ventilators and other respiratory support equipment.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active NBRC certification and BLS certification required in hand at the time of submission.
• Must have an active RRT license for the state of Ohio.
• Two professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last 12 months.
