Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department seeing approximately 160 visits per day across a 45-bed unit
• Manage and assess a diverse patient population including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Accurately document patient care and clinical data using EPIC electronic health records system
• Collaborate with ER Techs and transport sitters to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and care delivery
• Float within skillset as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Be available to work weekends and up to 2 of 3 designated holidays as required by department needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required at time of submission
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
• Must complete de-escalation training within 14 days of start date
• Must be available to adhere to agreed-upon schedule; no block scheduling or post-offer schedule changes accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity, high-volume Emergency Department environment
• Familiarity with varied patient ratios and ability to adapt to fluctuating census and acuity levels
• Experience working with multi-generational patient populations including pediatric through geriatric
