Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training) About the Role Your experience at the intersection of nursing and health IT is exactly what's needed to make AI smarter about clinical care. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research teams to build and train cutting-edge AI models - and we need nurses and informatics specialists who understand how care actually works. As a Nursing Informatics Specialist, you'll apply your real-world clinical and EHR expertise to evaluate, improve, and inform AI systems being developed for the healthcare space. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working clinicians and informatics professionals.

- Evaluate AI-generated clinical content, workflows, and documentation for accuracy, safety, and real-world usability
- Apply your nursing and informatics expertise to identify gaps, errors, or unrealistic assumptions in AI outputs
- Translate frontline clinical knowledge into structured, actionable feedback that improves AI model performance
- Review and assess EHR-related scenarios, clinical decision support content, and health IT workflows
- Work independently and asynchronously - on your schedule, at your pace
- Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with experience in clinical informatics or health IT
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms
- Strong ability to analyze clinical workflows and identify documentation or system-level issues
- Clear and precise written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety standards
- Experience with data annotation, quality review, or evaluation systems
- Background in clinical education, nursing leadership, or healthcare consulting
- Familiarity with AI tools or health informatics research
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside top research labs and healthcare innovators
