Quality Engineering ManagerApply**Job#: 3054420****Job Description:**Quality Engineering Manager**Location:** Manassas, Virginia (Onsite)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to lead the implementation and execution of the Quality Management System for construction and engineering projects. This role involves developing project-specific Quality Control Plans, managing quality documentation, and leading inspection processes to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and standards.Key Responsibilities* Lead the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) on assigned projects.* Develop and manage project-specific Quality Control Plans aligned with contract specifications and customer requirements.* Manage document controls, nonconforming work, corrective actions, and preventive actions.* Establish and lead the Three-Phase Quality Control Process, including preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections.* Perform and oversee field inspections to verify workmanship, installations, and materials comply with project requirements.* Collect and analyze inspection data, preparing daily and weekly quality reports.* Initiate, track, and close Discrepancy Notices and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).* Manage the punch list identification and closeout process.* Review engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and submittals, for constructability and compliance.* Serve as a direct quality interface with owners, project teams, and other stakeholders.Required Qualifications**Education:** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Controls Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.**Experience:** 4+ years of relevant construction experience as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager. A minimum of 2 years of direct experience as a Quality Control Manager is required. Experience applying the USACE/NAVFAC Three-Phase Quality Control System is necessary.**Technical Skills:** Strong knowledge of project Quality Management Systems and experience reviewing RFPs, specifications, construction drawings, and submittals. Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents. Ability to pass a background check.Preferred Qualifications* Experience supporting complex, mission-critical, data center, or large-scale construction projects.* Experience coordinating third-party testing and inspection agencies.* Experience with quality audits and operational risk management.* Background working across multidisciplinary construction environments.* Quality-related certifications or formal training in construction quality management. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
