Tax Manager- High Net Worth, Complex Business Entities

A top locally owned CPA and advisory services firm in Kansas City, MO has engaged with us to find a Tax Manager with experience in various business entities and high net worth clients.
Caliber Recruiting Group partners with locally owned CPA and advisory firms that are progressive minded and employee focused. We don#39;t work for the quot;Big 4quot; but we do work with growing and top-rated firms that do complex business tax work and also provide personal service for their clients.
Pay and Benefits of the Role:
- $120,000-$150,000 annually

- Hours capped at reasonable levels even during busy season
Responsibilities and Duties for the Role:
- Bachelors in accounting, (or equivalent, Business with accounting focus, econ, finance)
- 5-8+ years of accounting experience in a firm / wealth management / public accounting / CPA firm environment
- CPA license is a big plus, but NOT required EA is also a plus, with 5-7 or more years of tax prep and review work and or working towards the CPA license / eligible is ideal
- Prep and Review experience with C-Corps, S-Corps, Trusts and Partnerships, as well as tax return work with high net worth individuals
- Knowledgeable with IRS regulations and rules to ensure all compliance is met
- Excellent experience with various tax software programs, CCH. Thompson Reuters, Ultra Tax, or other major software program
