Retail Store Assistant Manager

We are currently searching for an energetic, outgoing, fast learner with retail sales/management experience. High ticket retail sales, or sales management and experience with Shopify is strongly preferred.

Job responsibilities:

• Oversee all retail store operations and commercial B2B business
• Implement company policies and procedures
• Identify areas for improvement and design new processes to increase efficiency and productivity
• Utilize data to identify trends and make informed operational decisions
• Communicate regularly with store employees, customers and vendors
• Create and maintain work schedule
• Responsible for purchase order creation and management
• Oversee invoicing and maintain accurate AR reporting
• Inventory management and tracking to ensure cost effectiveness and just in time management of inventory to minimize out of stocks
• Implement training programs to enhance staff skills and product knowledge
• Drive initiatives to improve customer experience, satisfaction, and loyalty
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions and events
• Ensure compliance with safety and security standards and handle emergency situations as needed
• Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to support operational needs

Job requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Retail experience
• Strong sales skills, including a record of sales growth
• Valid driver’s license
• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends supporting the operational needs of the business
• Excellent collaboration, written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Strong work ethic
• High level of trust, integrity and honesty
• Expertise in recruiting, motivating, training, and retaining effective team members

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: Strong preference for experience with Shopify.

License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
