What You'll Be Doing- M&A Deal Due Diligence: Support due diligence efforts by reviewing contracts, corporate records, and regulatory filings related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Litigation Management Support: Assist in drafting litigation summaries, organizing case files, and tracking deadlines to support active litigation matters.
- Corporate Governance: Help maintain corporate records, prepare board resolutions, and ensure compliance with governance protocols.
- Business Legal Support: Provide general assistance to business units, including contract review, research, and issue spotting.
- Compliance Program Development & Maintenance: Collaborate with the compliance team to develop, update, and maintain policies, training materials, and monitoring tools, and assist with compliance reporting and risk assessments.
- Students pursuing or interested in pre-law, legal studies, compliance or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Interest in legal, compliance, and corporate governance
- Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to learn in a dynamic business setting
