Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Ellensburg, WA | Critical Access Hospital – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week, which may include holiday and weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24/7 Emergency Department staffed by emergency physicians
• Deliver nursing care within a Level IV Trauma Center environment
• Support patients across acute, critical care, and birthing service lines within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington or compact state eligibility
• Prior Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required (standard for ED settings)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Rural healthcare experience
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital or Level IV Trauma Center setting
