Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standard assessments and observational methods.
Craft tailored treatment plans that align with immediate objectives while addressing long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions with a strong emphasis on communication skills, language growth, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to construct seamless care strategies.
Provide educational guidance to patients and their families, enhancing therapeutic progress outside of structured sessions.
Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure high-quality continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation journey.
Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
Commit to ongoing learning and development by staying updated on advancements in the field through continuous education and peer interaction.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within a month of hire.
Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for diverse age groups, with comprehensive knowledge of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to modify therapy approaches to cater to varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
