Make a difference in the school community supporting students as an experienced paraprofessional. Immediate contract openings are available for three professionals for the 2026-2027 school year. Roles offer opportunities at both elementary and high school levels, with schedules tailored to grade level. Caseload assignments will be matched to your expertise and interests, including 1:1 and classroom-based support.
Available positions:
- PCA (1:1) for a female elementary student with Down syndrome in a life skills classroom
- Paraprofessional supporting an emotional support classroom at the high school level
- Paraprofessional for a high school life skills classroom
What you bring:
- At least one year of experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting
- Ability to obtain a paraprofessional certificate within 60 days of hire if not already certified (48+ college credits or Associate’s degree or higher can also qualify)
- Positive, compassionate approach to student engagement and support
- Adaptability to various caseloads according to student needs and your skill set
- Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting students with academic, behavioral, and daily living tasks as outlined in their individualized plans
- Supporting teachers with classroom management and engagement strategies
- Helping foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
- Collaborating with educational staff, specialists, and families to promote student progress
