Press Mold OperatorBroken Arrow location 2nd shift: 3:30pm - 12:00amWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of molds used in plastics manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. Your expertise will help drive efficiency, safety, and precision in our production lines, contributing to the creation of top-tier plastic components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and develop your skills within a fast-paced, innovative environment.DutiesSet up and operate presses for plastics blow molding, injection molding, and extrusion processes with precision and adherence to safety protocolsInspect molds and finished products using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are achievedLoads molds into the presses, lifting up to 40 lbs.Handle materials efficiently using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage practicesConduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or inconsistencies and implement corrective actions as neededAssist in fabrication and assembly tasks related to mold setup or modifications using hand tools and fabrication equipmentFollow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall productivitySkillsStrong mechanical knowledge with experience operating press machinesProficiency in plastics blow molding, injection molding, extrusion processes, and related fabrication techniquesAbility to perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instrumentsFamiliarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; warehouse experience is a plusBasic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustmentsKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote continuous improvement in production workflowsExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues quicklyStrong understanding of safety protocols related to manufacturing environmentsJoin our team as a Press Mold Operator if you're passionate about manufacturing excellence!
