Job Description
- Escondido Christian Preschool is seeking a faith based, energetic, nurturing, positive, patient teacher who loves Jesus and is passionate about working with children and teaching them about Him.
- Responsibilities and duties include instructing and supervising children based on structured lesson planning and supporting classroom expectations set forth by the Christian preschool program.
- Weekly lesson plans would be written to create routines and a safe, fun learning environment for the children.
- Planned activities would meet spiritual, emotional, physical, social and intellectual needs.
- Daily/weekly communication with parents is essential and bi-yearly assessments would be done to support each individual child’s needs.
- Requirements: 12 post-secondary semester or at 6 units and enrolled in next semester class.
- 6 months of work experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program for children under five years of age.
