The Youth Recovery Center (YRC) is a unique, in-hospital residential treatment center, that helps adolescents ages 15-18, work through addiction recovery and address mental health needs. YRC is looking for a Clinical Nurse Supervisor with a special interest in the adolescent population to join our Youth Recovery team!

This position will be split between 1 12-hour shift working on the floor and 2 12-hour shifts providing administrative assistance. 

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

1. Assists the Director in the staffing, maintenance and supervision of the Registered Nurses in the department

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Current Colorado RN License or ability to obtain.
• BSN required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association required.
• Communication, organizational and computer skills.

Experience:

• 3 years RN work experience with at least 1 year experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Supervisor experience preferred

Skills:

• Ability to adapt quickly and with flexibility to changing work needs
• Ability to make effective decisions by assessing and evaluating a variety of information variables and viewpoints
• Conflict resolution skills
• Effective verbal and written communication, critical thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills to work with a variety of healthcare professionals and management personnel
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others

SALARY RANGE

• ‎$43.22- $64.83/hour (BSN)
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
• Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN, BSN, MSN)
