Aveson Global Leadership Academy (AGLA) is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and student-centered Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to support the social-emotional and mental health needs of students in a dynamic TK-12 charter school environment. Position Summary
Under the direction of the AGLA Site Director, the LMFT provides direct and indirect mental health services to students in grades TK-12. This position supports students experiencing academic, emotional, behavioral, social, and mental health challenges through counseling, assessment, intervention, consultation, and collaboration with school teams and families.
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide individual, group, and family counseling services
•
Conduct mental health and behavioral risk assessments
•
Support crisis response and student safety interventions
•
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student support plans
•
Partner with families, administrators, teachers, and outside providers
•
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, and California regulations
•
Promote trauma-informed, restorative, and culturally responsive practices
•
Support school-wide wellness and mental health
