Telemetry Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. The RN will monitor cardiac patients, perform procedures, and ensure compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous remote telemetry monitoring and interpret patient cardiac rhythms.
• Perform procedures such as chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Meditech system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and modify care plans.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including telemetry monitoring and stroke protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 1-year telemetry nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Knowledge of chest tubes, Dysthymia training, and familiarity with remote telemetry equipment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including every other weekend.
