Phlebotomist Specialist-Patient Service Center

Phlebotomist Location: Norcross, GA. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Work Schedule Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with 1‑hour lunch. Saturdays may be included. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program. At least six months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Certification or training must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
