HVAC Service Technician – Save the Day with Expert Diagnostics and Repair Job Overview Company: Professor Gatsby's Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical. Salary/Pay Rate: Up to $50 per hour plus commissions and a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Location: Berlin Township, NJ Job/Employment Type: Full Time. Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm) plus overtime and monthly on-call rotation. Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License. How You Will Make an Impact Troubleshoot and diagnose complex heating and cooling system failures to provide immediate comfort solutions. Educate clients on technical issues using layman's terms to ensure they can make informed repair decisions. Execute high-quality repairs on residential HVAC equipment while maintaining strict attention to detail. Maintain a prompt and reliable service schedule to uphold our status as the highest-rated provider in the region. Coordinate with the service team to ensure all technical documentation and parts orders are processed accurately. Promote world-class customer service by treating every home with the care and precision our mascot represents. Required Qualifications & Experience 2-3+ years of professional experience in HVAC service and repair. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to master the trade. Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company safety standards. Ability to work overtime and participate in a weekend on-call rotation once per month. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Advanced troubleshooting skills in diverse residential heating and cooling systems. Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, competitive, and team-oriented environment. Commitment to continuing education and staying current with industry innovations.
