Weekend only Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Van Duyn is eager to hire CNA's. We are hiring for full time and part time positions, all shifts. Every other weekend is required. Part time position requires 3 days a week and every other weekend depending on need.

Overview: Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 513 bed skilled Nursing facility atop Onondaga Hill in Syracuse, NY. The Van Duyn team is committed to providing quality care and diversified services with a professional team of caregivers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Identify and report changes in condition
• Participation in the pain management program
• Resident Advocate
• Infection prevention
• Interacting and engaging with residents and their families
• Active member of the interdisciplinary team
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• New graduates are welcome
