Senior Backend Software Engineer

Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for the Open edX learning platform. The role involves:
- Platform deployment
- Customization
- API integrations
- Performance optimization of a high-scale LMS system
Qualifications
- 5+ Years of experience
- Strong Python & Django expertise
- Open edX platform experience (Tutor, Docker)
- REST API development & backend architecture
- LTI 1.3, SSO & third-party integrations
- MySQL / MongoDB
- Celery / Redis for async processing
- Linux & CI/CD pipelines
- Basic AWS / cloud exposure (preferred)
Requirements
- Strong Python & Django expertise
