About Houseworks

\n

Most homeowners have someone to call when something breaks. Very few have someone who regularly looks after the house and helps them stay ahead of problems. Houseworks is a home care membership that does exactly that: an annual Home Condition Assessment, three seasonal Home Care Visits, a digital Home Health Report after every visit, and a trusted way to get additional work done when it’s needed. We’re launching in Ozaukee County, and what we build here becomes the model for every future territory.

The role

\n

You’ll be our first growth and operations hire, working directly with the Founder. Your top priority is building our membership base: getting in front of homeowners, explaining what Houseworks does, and enrolling members who stay. You’ll also run the day-to-day operation that keeps them happy, so the members you bring in get the experience we promised.

What you’ll do

\n

Grow the membership

\n

\n
• Enroll new members by presenting the Houseworks membership to homeowners clearly and honestly
\n
• Work referrals from our real estate team and build partnerships with local real estate agents
\n
• Develop new lead sources in Ozaukee County: community events, local businesses, neighborhood outreach
\n
• Track your pipeline, conversion, and retention, and help refine our sales presentation as we learn
\n
• Hire and coach Membership Advisors as the team grows

Run the operation

\n

\n
• Manage scheduling, routes, and daily field operations for Home Care Technicians and Home Advisors
\n
• Hold the team to our service standards: on-time visits, complete Home Health Reports, and an experience that earns renewals
\n
• Oversee how recommendations for additional work are reviewed, quoted, approved, and completed through our team and vendor network
\n
• Help refine visit times, checklists, and training during the pilot, and write down how we work so it can be repeated in new markets
\n

What we’re looking for

\n

\n
• 3–5+ years selling and/or managing a recurring residential service (pest control, lawn care, HVAC or plumbing maintenance agreements, home warranties, home services, or similar)
\n
• A proven record of closing sales and growing a customer base, ideally with a membership or subscription product
\n
• Experience leading or coordinating field teams, schedules, and routes
\n
• Natural relationship-builder who’s comfortable meeting homeowners, agents, and local business owners
\n
• Comfort with numbers: you track your pipeline and understand what drives profitability
\n
• Experience with CRM and scheduling software
\n
• A firm belief that honest, no-pressure selling builds a better business than hard closes and scare tactics
\n
• Valid driver’s license; familiarity with Ozaukee County and the north shore is a plus
\n

• You have an existing network among local real estate agents, contractors, or community groups

How we work

\n

We sell convenience, consistency, and having someone accountable for the home. We never exaggerate, use scare tactics, or pressure members. Technician pay is never tied to the value of repairs they recommend. Every visit is documented, and every member should feel their home is in good hands.

\n

Compensation

\n

$70,000–$90,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus an enrollment bonus for member count and members who stay past their first [90 days], plus a profit-sharing plan tied to the performance of the operation you help build. Founding role with real room to grow into leadership as we expand into new markets.
