Sales Engineer – LED Lighting & Energy Efficiency
Vancouver, WA | Full-Time | Onsite

This is a rapidly growing energy optimization company helping businesses across North America reduce energy costs, improve efficiency, and modernize their facilities. Their solutions include LED lighting systems, advanced lighting controls, EV charging infrastructure, and smart motor technologies. They have partnered with more than 5,000 businesses, including recognizable brands like Costco, IKEA, and Alaska Airlines.
The company is continuing to expand its commercial LED lighting and energy-efficiency division in Vancouver, Washington , and is looking for motivated sales professionals who want to build a career selling large, complex commercial projects.
The Opportunity
They are hiring a Sales Engineer to join our growing Vancouver sales team. Don't let the title fool you, this is a full-cycle, new-business sales role, and you do not need an engineering degree or previous LED commercial lighting experience to be successful. However, you do need to be a proven B2B hunter who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, identifying business opportunities, and closing deals. You'll work with commercial customers nationwide, helping them evaluate and implement LED lighting infrastructure solutions. Projects can involve substantial capital investments, including opportunities exceeding $1 million.
What We're Looking For
- Proven success in B2B sales, in a new-business development or full-cycle closing role.
- A strong hunter mentality with demonstrated success generating your own opportunities.
- Experience navigating consultative sales processes involving multiple decision-makers.
- Ability to prospect consistently, build relationships, and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- A self-motivated, competitive personality with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and stay organized throughout longer sales cycles.
- Comfortable working onsite in Vancouver with occasional national travel.
- Valid, insurable driver's license.
- Location is onsite in Vancouver, WA
