Minimum Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OT program. Individuals with a prior bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy who are grandfathered in may apply.
• Current licensure in the state of South Dakota required. Candidates willing to obtain licensure will be considered; indicate licensure status when applying.
• Experience with pediatric population preferred. Clinical experience treating children ages 7–17, autism spectrum disorders, or developmental delays is desirable.
• Ability to manage behavioral challenges, including aggression, in a clinical setting.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record as required by state or employer.
• Willingness to relocate to the Rapid City, SD area if not locally based.
• New graduates with internship or practicum experience will be considered.

Position Details

• Primary specialty: Occupational Therapist.
• Setting: Outpatient with primary focus on pediatric patients ages 7–17; may include inpatient or outpatient duties as needed.
• Typical caseload: 1:1 sessions. Caseload may be more intensive due to current staffing needs.
• Work shift: Days. Monday through Friday, no weekends.
• Team size: Part of a multidisciplinary center with approximately 20 clinicians across departments and five other SLPs at the center.
• Clinical focus: Autism, child development, pediatric advocacy, and behavioral management.
