Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) – Per Diem Glen Head, NY | Nassau County $19.65/Hour | Flexible Scheduling | Weekly Pay | Immediate Openings

Affirmed Home Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide exceptional in-home care to clients in Glen Head and surrounding Nassau County communities. We are currently offering immediate per diem opportunities with flexible scheduling and local case assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Provide personal care, bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance

• Offer medication reminders as directed

• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

Qualifications

• Active New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification required

• Minimum of one year of professional HHA experience

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Valid driver's license preferred

• Reliable transportation strongly preferred

Required Health Documentation

• Physical examination completed within the last 12 months

• PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past year, or chest X-ray completed within the last 5 years

• MMR immunization documentation within the last 10 years
