Seeking physicians for four centers in Springfield, MO and Joplin, MO. Department: Urgent Care Start Date: 05-25-2024 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only EMR System: Epic Practice Setting: Outpatient Does Provider require hospital/surgery center privileges?: No Admissions Required? Yes Patients Per Shift: 30-50 Does your Facility require physicians to be board certified?: Yes Fellowship: N/A Minimum Board Certification: Certified What is the license requirement to bid?: None Estimated Credentialing Timeframe (Days): 90 + but it seems longer for physicians with lengthy resumes. I'd plan on 120 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Physicians: Residency training and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM) or Med/Peds (this is required). Must be residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in FP, IM/Peds or ED. MUST be trained to see both adults and pediatrics. Physicians who are board eligible must have completed board certification within 5 years of residency completion. Board certification must be obtained during appropriate eligibility time frame. Must treat both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages but generally 6 months and up) Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays. We have onsite X-ray and EKG. Must be comfortable with EMR. Epic training will be provided but cannot be provided prior to clearing credentialing and onboarding. If someone is open to collaboration with APPs please submit their cost for doing so. Must be willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, rad techs as support staff (no RN/LPN support staff) Scheduling/Needs: Up to 14 shifts per month. Preference to locums able to cover a significant number of shift. Preference also to local physicians, since this is an ongoing assignment Available to work in either any Springfield location or Joplin, MO location (proximity 1 hour) Can schedule 4 shifts in a row Centers are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (12 Hour shifts) and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday (8 hour shifts). Physicians will not be granted any overtime. Description / Other Details: Urgent Care clinic; Provider must see patients 6 months and up for urgent care needs. Procedures including suturing, wound care, I & Ds, splinting, X-Ray and ECG over read, place IVs.
