Senior Data Analyst

Data Analyst
The purpose of this position is to analyze data and create reports using infographics, maps, graphs and charts to tell a story that is easy to understand. This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
Essential functions include providing technical support to data collection and analysis functions, designing data collection plans, retrieving and making accessible data from various sources, performing statistical and qualitative analysis, overseeing and conducting program evaluation, creating program and organizational reports, fostering a culture of empowerment and ownership, responding to regular data requests, and performing related work as assigned.
Minimum education and experience requirements include a Master's Degree in Information Technology or Systems, Engineering Technology, Planning or related discipline, and four (4) years of program evaluation, data analysis or related experience. Other minimum requirements include possessing and maintaining a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
