Job Details Level: Experienced, Job Location: Casino Fandango - CARSON CITY, NV 89701, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Restaurant Back of House Job Description As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing pizzas and other food items to order in an efficient, professional, and timely manner while maintaining company standards for quality, presentation, and food safety. Job Requirements Prepare specialty pizzas according to recipes and direction provided by the Sous Chef and Executive Chef. Serve guests specialty pizzas and gelato from the counter in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain proper portion sizes and ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of food products meet company standards. Ensure that no food leaves the kitchen without a ticket, including manager meals. Clean, disinfect, and sanitize cutting boards, worktables, equipment, and food preparation areas. Ensure kitchen and Health Department sanitation requirements are consistently maintained. Keep the workstation clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout service. Properly wrap, label, date, and store all food items in their designated areas. Maintain food preparation between the main line stations and pizza station to support efficient service. Assist the Sushi Chef with food preparation and other kitchen duties as needed. Maintain open and effective communication with Management regarding food preparation, service, and operational needs. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests, fellow Team Members, Management, and vendors. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Must be at least 21 years of age. High School Diploma and/or GED preferred. Must have the job-related tools necessary to perform the position. Previous experience preparing and cooking pizzas preferred. Additional Requirements Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Must maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance. Ability to successfully interact with Team Members and Management at all levels. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime as needed. Must be able to tolerate working in areas with secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
