Job Title: RN - Hospice Profession: RN - Hospice Specialty: RN - Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Shift 1st Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: Hospice certification preferred Must-Have: Compassionate approach to end-of-life care Strong communication skills Ability to work independently in home health setting Description: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in hospice. Assist patients and families with end-of-life decision making. Manage pain and other symptoms to ensure comfort. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care. Educate patients and families regarding care plans and resources. Document patient progress and changes in condition accurately. Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines in all aspects of care. Support family members and caregivers during the grieving process. Maintain a safe and respectful environment for patients and families. Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development in hospice care. Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
