What You'll Actually Do

• Think of yourself as a talent detective, relationship builder, and business owner in training.
• Hunt for opportunities. Identify companies that need talent and professionals ready for their next opportunity. Some days feel like a scavenger hunt. That's part of the fun.
• Pick up the phone. Have real conversations with candidates, hiring managers, and prospective clients. Build relationships that turn into business.
• Ask the hard questions. Understand what people need, challenge assumptions, negotiate, and bring both sides of a deal together.
• Get comfortable hearing no. Rejection is part of the process. The best recruiters learn from it, move on, and make the next call.
• Build your own network. Develop relationships, uncover opportunities, and grow a book of business that can generate results over time.
• Own your results. Manage priorities, follow up consistently, solve problems, and take responsibility for your pipeline and performance.
• Not every conversation leads somewhere. Not every lead becomes a client. But the right conversations, repeated consistently, can change your career.
