Electrical Controls Technician

We are looking for an Engineering Technician (Electrical/Controls) to keep our parks running safely and smoothly. This specialized role supports Facilities and Rides teams, requiring variety each day from troubleshooting to maintenance. What you’ll be doing Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical and control systems Work with AC (120V, 240V) and low‑voltage DC systems (48V and under) Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams Support both Facilities and Rides teams across the park Respond quickly to breakdowns and help get things back up and running Follow all safety policies to keep yourself and the team safe Assist with preventive maintenance and system improvements About You Training and/or education in electrical, controls, or a related field (trade school or degree in progress welcome) 6 months to 1 year of experience in electrical Certifications or relevant coursework are a plus Comfortable working with AC/DC systems and reading schematics Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to think on your feet Team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment Adaptable and ready to jump into whatever the day brings Weekend availability highly preferred Benefits Health care options (medical, dental, and vision plans) Paid Time Off (PTO) Merlin Magic Pass for friends and family to enjoy the parks and attractions Recognition programs and rewards 401(k) program with company matchTuition reimbursement programs Pay Range USD $23.43 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr Merlin Entertainments
