Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour. Purpose The Nail Technician is responsible for performing hand and foot treatments to guests according to the treatment protocols provided. The Nail Technician is responsible for ensuring the guest’s comfort and relaxation during each service by offering amenities, such as water, hot tea or mimosas. The Nail Technician is responsible for obtaining the education and licensure required to perform these services. The Nail Technician is also responsible for educating the guest on the benefits of the services and products offered by the spa. The Nail Technician will work closely with the Spa Coordinator and Spa Concierge to ensure that each guest is on schedule for their treatment(s). The Nail Technician is responsible for conforming to THE WOODHOUSE standards set forth in the Team member Handbook and Operations Manual and will strive each day to exceed our guest’s expectations. Responsibilities Perform an outstanding service to each guest Welcome each guest and introduce yourself Prepare the guest for services according to the treatment protocols Offer the guest beverages and other amenities available Review the guest’s chart for any valuable information Educate the guest on the products used during the service Retail home care products and explain how to use them properly Refer the guest to other WOODHOUSE services offered Allow the guest to relax by only speaking when spoken to Sanitize all instruments used during the service according to the Sanitation Policy Write down any pertinent information into the guest’s chartRecord the polish color the guest prefers in the chart Maintain organization of the nail room, preparation areas, and changing lounges Escort guests to dressing room, service areas, etc., when needed Ensure laundry services are completed daily Obtain continuous education Renewal of licensure as required by the state Abide by all protocols as set forth by THE WOODHOUSE SPAS CORPORATION Ensure proper lighting, music, cleanliness, and aromatherapy as set forth in the Ambiance Standards Protect THE WOODHOUSE Brand Woodhouse Perks Include Competitive Pay and Incentive programs Health/Dental/Vision Insurance for Full Time Employees Generous discounts and opportunities to enjoy services and products The Woodhouse Way paid training program Organizational Relationships The Nail Technician reports directly to their department supervisor if applicable, then to General Manager.
