Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the 4 North Cardiac Telemetry unit.
• Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips.
• Administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone.
• Perform procedures including IV insertions, NGT placement, Chest Tube maintenance, Temporary Pacemakers, and Foley insertions.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while fostering a family-like atmosphere in a fast-paced environment.
