Accounting Supervisor, Technical Accounting - Fort Worth (130k-135k)

LHH is seeking a Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting professional for a quickly growing publicly traded with an active acquisition strategy and a strong focus on continued expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with a public accounting background and strong technical accounting foundation and experience navigating complex transactions, including debt and equity instruments, business combinations, and financial reporting matters. The position offers meaningful exposure to senior finance leadership, complex accounting issues, and opportunities for continued professional growth. Job Responsibilities Research technical accounting issues and provide preliminary guidance and conclusions to finance leadership. Prepare technical accounting memoranda related to complex transactions and accounting matters. Support the implementation of new accounting standards and accounting policies, including research and peer analysis. Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations related to areas such as consolidations, eliminations, stock-based compensation, business combinations, equity instruments, and debt and interest. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including financial statements and supporting schedules. Prepare and support SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K. Support financial statements and pro forma information related to significant acquisitions and other public-company reporting requirements. Prepare internal management reporting and financial analyses. Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits by external accounting firms. Evaluate the accounting implications of acquisitions and other complex corporate transactions. Participate in special projects and other technical accounting initiatives as assigned. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Active CPA license required. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful experience at the senior level. Strong technical accounting experience, including research and interpretation of FASB, SEC, and other applicable accounting guidance. Experience with complex debt and equity instruments and transactions. Experience with business combinations, purchase accounting, and acquisition-related accounting. Experience preparing technical accounting research and written accounting memos. Strong public accounting and/or public-company accounting and financial reporting experience.
