Structural Designer: Flexible Schedule & Growth

As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to draw from our resources and contribute your expertise. Structural Designer Join our growing Structural team as a Structural Designer. In this role you will work on various structural design projects with state and local transportation agencies. You will perform engineering models, analysis, and/or designs, as well as supporting calculations and documentation. You will coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients. Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply! Location This position will be based in our Boston, Massachusetts office. The Impact You Will Have Collect and assimilate data and perform modeling, analysis and/or design calculations of project elements. Draw design details under direction of Project Managers. Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items. Organize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards. Coordinate drafting of an element. Perform field or site visits as needed. Develop knowledge of applicable codes and standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software. What You Will Need Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required. E.I.T (or desire to obtain P.E. in the future) preferred. Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products. Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects. Willingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks, including potential travel to project sites. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written – e‑mails, project memos, reports, etc.) Detail‑oriented and organized, thriving in deadline‑driven environments. Compensation The expected compensation range for this position is $72,000 — $85,000 USD, which includes base salary, overtime, and bonuses.
