Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the month-end close process, maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position will partner with cross-functional teams, support audits, and help drive process improvements across the accounting function.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
  
• Analyze financial statements and investigate variances.
  
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
  
• Support internal and external audits and provide audit documentation.
  
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
  
• Review accounting transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  
• Partner with operations and business leaders to support financial decision-making.
  
• Develop and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
  
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
  
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Multi-entity accounting environment.
  
• Audit support and external auditor interaction.
  
• Process improvement and internal controls.
  
• Manufacturing, construction, distribution, technology, or professional services industry experience (depending on business needs).

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
