Media Manager

A $60M+ beauty/cosmetics brand is seeking a versatile Media Manager to lead end-to-end media strategy and channel execution for a growing consumer brand. This role combines high-level strategic planning with hands-on campaign execution. Partnering closely with internal marketing leaders and external agency, you will own channel allocation, directly run emerging platforms, and lead performance analysis to drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop full-funnel media plans, guide overall budget allocation, and lead optimization testing across audiences, landing pages, and creative formats.
- Hands-On Channel Execution: Directly build, manage, and optimize campaigns across secondary paid channels, including TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Reddit.
- Agency Management: Direct and evaluate external agency partners managing Meta and Google ad accounts to ensure aligned priorities, budget pacing, and quality tracking.
- Budget & Performance Optimization: Manage monthly budgets of $300K+, optimizing campaigns against key efficiency metrics like CAC, ROAS, MER, CTR, and CVR.
- Analytics & Reporting: Leverage GA4, Triple Whale, and attribution tools to deliver actionable weekly and monthly performance insights while maintaining strict data hygiene.
- Creative Testing: Analyze ad creative performance to develop actionable creative briefs and testing frameworks in collaboration with creative teams.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate media timing around major product launches, promotional events, affiliate marketing, and social commerce operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3-5++ years of hands-on paid media experience, ideally within e-commerce, consumer goods, or multi-SKU brands.
- Budget Scale: Track record of direct oversight for $250K+ in monthly paid media spend.
- Platform Mastery: Strong proficiency with Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest, GA4, and Triple Whale.
- E-Commerce Context: Background with Shopify platforms, agency management, affiliate programs, and social shopping integrations.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex multi-platform data into clear strategic recommendations.
Offices located in NYC and Long Island (hybrid).
Salary could be 140-150k or more depending on experience. Full benefits and bonus available.
