Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Variable Shift - Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 days on, 3 days off. Candidates must be willing to work both days and nights.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Maternity and Labor & Delivery will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients during the ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum periods. The role includes working with gynecological patients and newborns in a facility equipped with 18 beds, including triage, antepartum, operating rooms for c-sections, recovery beds, and labor & delivery beds.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the labor and delivery setting.
• Provide support to patients in ante-partum and post-partum care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Assist in triaging incoming patients and assessing their needs.
• Utilize Epic/Stork software for patient management.
• Provide care to newborns and support their family members.
• Float to maternal/child health, pediatrics, or adult floors as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 4-5 years of experience in Labor & Delivery required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Epic/Stork experience is necessary.
