This role ensures restaurant kitchen equipment and related building systems meet all performance standards through timely diagnostics, repair, and preventative service.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTroubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and remove commercial kitchen equipmentService commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration systems (including sealed systems), specialty foodservice equipment, and base building HVAC systemsRespond to Operator service requests within established service level agreementsService equipment including (but not limited to): Henny Penny, Follett, Lennox (HVAC), Traulsen, Hobart mixers, Champion dishwashers, Garland GrillCommunicate with manufacturers for diagnosis support and parts identificationConsult with the Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team while onsiteInstall ordered parts accurately and professionallyComplete accurate and timely documentation including work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventoryMaintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and parts inventorySupport on-call emergency response during non-standard hoursFollow safe work practices and accident prevention proceduresParticipate in continuous OEM training and certification programsEngage with equipment partners, suppliers, and vendors supporting the service networkMaintain productivity levels in accordance with company standardsSKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCETechnical trade school training and/or relevant hands-on experienceMinimum 5+ years of related trade experience or equivalentProven training or experience in one or more of the following:Sealed refrigeration/HVAC systemsElectrical systemsMechanical systemsProcess controlsHot Side Cooking Equipment and/or Mechanical power transmissionExperience servicing kitchen equipment, facilities, or construction systemsEPA Universal CertificationValid state driver’s license and proof of insuranceSafe driving record (MVR required)Ability to safely operate company vehiclesStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read diagrams and schematicsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and mobile service applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independentlyPositive, service-oriented attitudeTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS100% travel within a defined local marketLimited overnight travel mostly for onboarding and trainingPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to work extended periods during emergency or priority situations (including overtime)Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 poundsClimb ladders and stairs up to two stories (with ladder safety training) (Note: Roof access ladders are provided, van loading/unloading of a large ladder is non typical)Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and crawlingExtended periods of standing and walking on even and uneven surfacesFrequent use of arms, wrists, and hands to operate tools and machineryAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsCompetitive compensation and benefits including, but not limited to, a full range of health care benefits, paid time off, and 401K are available.Colliers provides equal employment opportunities to all persons.
