The Baker Associate I will provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service while performing all duties. The Bakery Associate I will perform these duties in such a manner as to create a clean, safe working environment according to Covid‑19 regulations and standards for yourself, co‑workers and ultimately TooJay’s guests. We Offer Our Bakery Associate I: Medical and Dental Insurance Paid Time Off for eligible team members Discounted Meal Program – including catering Training & Career Growth Opportunities Responsibilities Work neatly Clean work area Fold boxes / package bakery products Perform basic bakery duties Roll out Rugalach Ice Black and White Cookies Cake decorating Place paper in pans Flip Cheesecake Prep bakery ingredients Maintain high standards of personal grooming, including wearing proper uniform and any face masks or gloves if required and as regulated Comply at all times with TooJay’s standards and regulations for safety and adhere to Health department regulations Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times Maintain cleanliness of all cases and work areas Perform all end‑of‑shift functions Be familiar with location of fire extinguishers and how to access them Attend meetings as required by management Minimize waste and pilferage Perform any other duties as requested by management Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns or issues raised by co‑workers and/or manager Must be able to understand and adhere to company policies and procedures Must wash hands every 30 minutes during and throughout shifts Must be willing to work with cleaning and/or sanitizing equipment and solutions Medium work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects Ability to stand during entire shift Requirements Great attitude, willingness to learn, team player and punctuality is key Must be 16 years of age #J-18808-Ljbffr Toojaysdeli
